10 month old increasing night feeds

Any words of wisdom?
My nearly 10-month old goes down like a dream at 7 and was sleeping through until 5ish when he'd need a feed (breastfeed). The last few nights he has started waking at 11/12 and wanting milk. I've tried to leave him to see if he drops back off but he doesn't and always has a good feed, then another at 5. I thought they were supposed to be dropping milk feeds at this point not increasing them.
Anyway...just wondered if anyone had any experience/thoughts. My gut tells me to just suck it up, it's only a phase, right? And try to increase his daytime food (3 meals plus snacks, eats like a horse but dropped daytime breastfeeds between 5am and 7pm a month or so ago).
I can't increase milk feeds during the day as I am at work and he won't take a bottle, doesn't make a fuss, just quietly refuses it until breast is available.

Thanks

Mine did this, and is still feeding in the night at 15 months I'm afraid! I know that doesn't help you, I don't seem to be able to get her to drop that night feed now.

Thanks anyway. I stuffed him full of food at dinner time and we ony had one night feed - that I can live with!

My 9mo has done this the last few nights. Confused I am going to make her 7pm bottle bigger. See if I can fill her up a bit.
I have a vague recollection of her sister doing this each time she cut a tooth so hopefully that will be the answer then we will get back to normal.
Hope your lo gets back into sleeping too.
