Breastfeeding necklace?

Has anyone used one of these or come across them? My DD has been a fussy feeder since about 3 months and now she seems to be reverse cycling, too distracted to feed well in the daytime and so is waking up more at night.

I've been looking at advice on kellymom etc and some of the advice to get distractible babies to feed more in the daytime mentioned using a breastfeeding necklace to keep them occupied and on the breast for longer. Did anyone get one and find it useful? Or any other tips for getting a distractible baby to settle more while feeding?

Radio instead of TV in the day.
Running home from playgroup to feed at home.
Having to go and sit in back of the car while my family have pudding in a restaurant.

Bloody miserable experience!

I had one but found it distracted ds more than ever.

What worked was feeding in a quiet place, darkened if possible, with nothing to distract him.

Thanks - I've tried the nursing cover when feeding in public and it hasn't made a difference. She still just has a snack feed and then starts pulling at the nursing cover or fidgeting and kicking her legs.

At home I always feed her in a quiet room away from any activity but I have a 3 year old so there are limits on how quiet I can keep things!

Interesting you say the necklace just distracted your DS even more Dishwasher. I've a feeling this would be the case with DD. I wore a black and white striped top the other day and it drove her wild... she barely fed all day as a result...Confused
