Hi, just wondered if anyone else has experienced this - dc3 is 11 weeks old and ebf, the past two nights she has had her bedtime feed at 8.30pm then slept through til 5am, normally during the day I have a very fast let down and it basically squirts everywhere but today i haven't felt a thing and she seems to be suck suck my breasts feel soft rather than full like they usually do between feeds sucking but not swallowing, I can't actually tell if there's anything coming out!! Nappies seem fine but just a bit worried there's a drop in my supply and whether she's even getting anything after the first few sucks, maybe just paranoid as I bottle fed the first two so I have no experience of this, any thoughts appreciated

It could just be that your body has become more in tune with her needs Smile

I'd say your body has either tuned in to her needs fairly perfectly so no excess waiting to spill out, or she's having a bit of a growth spurt and upping the ante by taking longer at each feed (to place her order for more more more!). Think mine had a growth spurt around 12 weeks- characterised by glueing herself to my boobs for several days. Got sweet FA done in the house. It was great.

Either way if she's happy and wetting nappies I'd say all is well Grin

Thank you for the reassurance Smile
