Help! Introducing bottles of formula

Hi,

I have been breastfeeding my 8 week son since week 2. It's been quite problematic and his weight gain has been very slow. We have been advised to introduce top ups/formula. He is also going off bf so really need to crack this ASAP!

However, this is proving really difficult! My son will not take a top up bottle of formula at all. He is clearly hungry but refuses the bottle, and begins screaming. We have tried tommee tippee bottles and mam bottles. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Betty are you getting any RL support? Is there a Bfing Support Group near to you or have you called one of the Bfing Helplines?
