Thrush and bf 1yo

I've got thrush in my left nipple and canasten cream to use.

Ds2 is 14mo and bf in morning and eve, plus night feeds. He's been ill with a cold and likes the comfort.

I don't want to feed on left side can I just feed on right? Will this hurt the left boob by getting engorged and possible mastitis?

Should I stop altogether? In which case do I need to phase it out? And what do I do about giving ds2 his milk? Sippy cups of milk to replace day bf and water at night?

So confused I've had more than my fair share of bf problems but I thought I'd seen the last of them.

Any advice gratefully appreciated.

I had thrush in both my nipples
When my DS was brand new and I think I'm getting it again with DD 3 days old. Can you get your GP to prescribe something which can be breasted through? I think Daktarin is the stuff but there is definitely something you can use which means breast feeding is still possible just can't remember the name.

I was thinking about just giving up or feeding on one side til it's better. Ds is really upset. I need to go and wash the nips so he can feed but worried he will get it in his mouth. Think id better just give up. It's not like he really needs it now but I was just going to let him self wean.

Worried that if I don't offer left boob it will get engorged.
