Bitten during feeding

Hi, I need advice as my little one is getting teeth and keeps biting me, this has led to a bleeding nipple, soreness and a gaping hole in the side of my boob, the size of a baby tooth. How can i stop this from happening. Really want to keep on feeding. Have tried saying no, and finishing the feed. Very uncomfortable and beginning to consider switching to formula.

When ds bit me in spectacular style, he actually made me yelp. Shocked him so much he started crying and refused to feed for 24 hours
Anyway got back going the next day, he never so much as nibbled me again and he was fed for over 2 years.
I think I'd stop the feed if your lo does it again, saying firmly no. Then try again as normal next feed.

BTW your name made me laugh as we've just visited my parents who's neighbour has just painted his garage and front door "babypoo" colour as my dd loves to call it

Thanks for advice. Have tried, no more bites so far. Hopefully all will heal, and we can continue upto a year.
