Since yesterday my right boob has been really painful. It's mainly the nipple as latching DS on is agony and now the boob feels hard and sore too. DS is nearly 13 months and I've never had a problem like this before. I can't feed him on that side as it hurts too much and yesterday I tried expressing but barely got an ounce after pumping for over half an hour. It doesn't feel hot or look red so I don't think it could be mastitis but if I look very closely at the nipple it looks a bit red and swollen, though not cracked. Any advice?
