Leaving bf baby - effect on supply

Hi there. Bit of background- My baby is now 14 weeks and after a roller coaster start to breast feeding caused by severe tongue tie I now feel we have cracked it. He is breast fed for each feed except for his last feed of the day where he has a bottle of either formula or expressed milk so that dh can do the feed and I can have a break. I express later in the evening to make up for this.
My question is about the impact of missing feeds on my supply now that it is established. Around 2 times a week dh will have the baby whilst I am out and so I will miss one feed each time. I don't tend to express to make up for these missed feeds as by the time I am back it is feed time again. Will this affect my supply long term? Or will my supply now be established enough to cope? I haven't had any problems so far but given the battle I had to get where I am with bfeeding I don't want to take a step backwards. Thanks!

I am not an expert, and someone who knows more than me may be along soon, but I have been doing exactly what you're going to do and have had no issues with supply. My DH takes the baby a couple of times a week, so I can meet up with a friend or go to the gym or whatever. He gives her expressed milk, but it may not have been expressed that day. I don't make any particular effort to express to make up the feed when I get back, and just fit the expressing in for the next bottle when I have time. The only issue I've had is massive leaky boobs by the time I get home!
