BF 7 month old won't take any fluids when I'm at work

She won't take formula, cows milk or water at all from a bottle, sippy cup, cheepo £1 shop bottle HV suggested for soft teats or even a spoon.

Only I'm now back in work travelling considerable distances away from her as of today and we are panicking a bit!

She's gone from 7am to 8pm with nothing. Only solids (rice pudding, banana)

In 1 month I have to be abroad for a 2 day meeting.

Suggestions / experience would be welcome!

When you say she's on solids, how much? How well does she eat generally? Is she feeding a lot at night? Have you tried ebm in a bottle/cup/sippy cup?

3 meals a dsy, a mix of puree and finger foods. She eats well but won't drink with it. She'll BF several times at night.

Worried about my upcoming overnighters though as I just won't be there to feed.

I haven't tried bm in a cup as I'm rubbish at expressing but will give it another go.

Try not to panic. There is liquid in food too, especially if using purées. You could try adding formula/more cows milk to cereals, mash it up with potatoes etc. I've been really worrying about my little girl as she eats so little and I'm going back to work but have been trying to reassure myself that some babies sleep 12/13 hours without fluids and do fine.
