lumpy nipple help!

I've posted in chat too really hoping someone else has had this. I stopped breastfeeding my 1 year old a week ago for good I had cut down slowly. I've been uncomfortable all week as expected but tonight the area around my nipples have gone hard and lumpy...more so on one side where it's now hurting a bit.

Any ideas?! Bit worried

sounds like a blocked duct or mastitis to me, I would try to hand express a bit, hot bath and ibruprofen. If it is not better you should see a GP. DO you feel as if you have flu? Have you a temp?

Thanks ASAS I did see your reply I was getting a bit anxious!

No temperature no flu symptoms. Going to try and express in the bath. Think its going to really hurt though Sad oh I'm so fed up of this now I just want to stop feeling sore and lumpy all the time!
