toddler been sick since last night. keeping down very small amounts of water but nothing else. keeps asking to BF but is then sick.

feel terrible refusing to BF but its all coming back out. she seams ok in self not as lively as normal but not terrible either.

is it ok to just offer water in small amounts?

I would offer small frequent bf if that's what she normally has. Even if she is sick afterwards she will retain some of the goodness of the breastmilk. Give water as well in sips if required

My toddlers had sickness twice recently and if anything we upped tr bf. Bf could be good for comfort too if they're feeling sucky.

thanks everyone x I pumped and then tried feeding which I think reduced the amount she got and so far shes kept that down and is now sleeping - fingers crossed
