Latch problems on right side

Does anyone have any advice for how to improve my latch?

DD is 8 weeks and recently become a very fussy eater. I have to watch her for signs of fussing so I can pull her off and reattach before she yanks me to pieces.

That works fine on left side. But on right she sort of clamps down harder. I often don't notice as nipple is fine and doesn't hurt, so when she's on it just feels like a stronger latch IYSWIM. But when I take her off the underside of the areola is indented and suddenly becomes v v v painful.

This has only just started happening in the last day. I'm so keen to fix it before it becomes a problem. Any ideas? Could I be holding her wrong? It's cradle btw.

Thanks.
