i'm sorry to hear about the talipes - hope it all goes well.

It's a million dollar question for which there is no answer! All babies are different. My ds is 12 wks old and still waking up thru the night several times and I think he is doing well to reach the 2.5 hr mark bet feeds during the day.

If your LO is doing 2-3 hrly already, my guess is it will improve. Babies wake thru the night for many reasons - feeding is just one of them. And if your LO is used to co sleeping, the transition may be difficult...might be an idea to do it before you have to?

By 3 months both of ours were sleeping good 6 hours stretches minimum at night but unfortunately they are all different and no guarantees. Some others are still up several times a night. Could you use a bedside cot so he has more room but is still close by to feed or is that not feasible ?

Hi there, my 16 wk old DD started sleeping through the night without a feed about 3 weeks ago. It happened almost overnight actually and was when we took her out of her moses basket and moved her into her cot bed (in her own room). I think hearing us move about in bed was disturbing her sleep cos she would stir and she was also sometimes banging her arms on her basket and wakening herself up. We also started giving her a bottle of formula at night, followed by a BF, to make sure she had a really good feed before bed time. Before this, DD just gradually started going longer between feeds at night and still fed every 2/3 hrs during the day.
