I am FF so don't start the Breast is best bandwagon I am fully aware that it is but stopped when lo was 3 weeks old. What is best way to make bottles up when out ? I have been using ready made milk since bit has been changed to a prescription milk which has no ready made milk. It says a bottle can be made, cooked and is ok for up too 2 hours I would not leave it this long. What do you do when your out? I have ordered little tubs for the powder, I have a flask and a insulated bag. I do not know weather to fill flask and then make bottles up or full bottles with water and put them in the insulated bag so they are not boiling/take forever to cool down. Is there an easy way?

Wouldn't 2 hours be enough time though? For one bottle at least, and then if you need another you could use the flask of hot water method.

I wouldn't want to risk the water cooling down to less than 70 degrees if you put it in the bottles and put them in the insulating bag. I think I'd rather take the flask of hot water and try and anticipate when I'd need a bottle, as once you've made one up it would last for 2 hours too. So if you give the first bottle, maybe make the next one about an hour and a half later so that it would be available for the next feed. Obviously you would adjust that for how frequently your baby tends to feed.
