Hi, I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks without DD. I'm not worried about leaving her, she will take a bottle whilst I'm away and will be well looked after.

What on earth do I do about my boobs though? I'll be missing at least 3 feeds so they will huge, painful and leaking by the end of the night. Am I best buying a manual breast pump and nipping back to the car every few hours? There won't be anywhere private for me to plug the electric pump in and hand expressing takes me ages, I can't see me doing that in the toilets!!! Grin I'm starting to get a bit worried about what to do!

I have a mini medala pump that works plugged into mains & by battery - it's a life saver. You will definately need to pump 3/4 times to keep your supply right & yourself comfortable. I know they say supply is well established by 12 weeks but I woukdnt take the chance. Wear breast pads & have fun !

Take a pump! I went to a spa for 6 hours with DP as our first baby free time together in 10 weeks and spent a good hour of that in the toilet, hand expressing a few times - I was in agony with two footballs on my chest!
