Protein shakes and breastfeeding

I am starting to exercise after having my DS 3 months ago. I'm doing T25 so afterwards I'm really hungry. Does anyone know if you can have protein shakes when breastfeeding. I'm thinking of having these as a snack NOT a meal replacement. I could never give up meals with the breastfeeding manic hunger!! Equally I don't want a baby who looks like this

Almost every food is fine when breastfeeding - why would a protein shake be any different? My understanding is that these give you an intense boost of protein with some added bells-and-whistles of vitamins and minerals. It's all food of some sort. Can't think why this would affect your baby in any way. It's certainly not going to affect his growth or the growth of his musculature :)

Agree with tiktok
I looked into this when I had ds1as dh was using protein powder in some recipes (portidge, pancakes, puddings)
It's just extra protein and I n sure (but don't know where I read it) that it suggested protein was good for bf (like I say no source to back it up)
