... And hated it. Really missed it. I lasted a day. Has anyone ever done this? I've been feeding her all pm to make sure I've got enough supply tomorrow. Will my milk dry up? I feel like a numpty cause I don't even want to combination feed anymore as I had been but don't know if I will be able to re establish my supply. Can anyone advise? X

How old is baby and how much formula had a/he been having? Combo fed since birth?

Showy · 27/01/2015 19:49

How old? And why did you want to stop? Will help with replies.

She's 14 weeks and was EBF til 13 weeks when I introduced one bottle a day. Last thing at night. then yesterday gave her three bottles, fed her in the night (breast) and then formula all day today til 5pm. Breasts feel quite full now and seem to be producing enough to satisfy her but I'm worried I won't have enough for the night now.

Sorry for rambling. I feel like I've made a massive mistake I'm panicking Confused

You'll be fine. Milk wil keep on coming as long as your baby is asking for it. Don't panic!

I think you'll be fine. She might do some good boob bashing if it's not quite quick enough, but I'd think your supply was fairly robust after 13 weeks ebf.

Oh my days thank you guys.

It was the weirdest thing. I was in a sports shop buying ds some shoes, felt my milk come in and just thought what am I doing and fed her there on the spot!!

I'll get some supplies in for a wakeful night of boob bashing.
