For weeks (at least 3) my baby has slept a good 8-9 hours a night! But last night she woke every 3 hours, tonight she has woken every hour. She has been feeding A LOT and never really properly settles when back in her crib.

What are the potential reasons for all this night feeding all of a sudden?

Growth spurt? (She's 9 weeks)
Reduction in supply? (I feel a lot less engorged recently and ive started slimming world.... Maybe my milk isn't fatty enough??)
Comfort? (She's generally been a bit grumpier during the day too)
Too hot?
Too cold?
Just a normal baby thing with no real explanation?

Or did I just get a bit too smug/confident about my lovely 8-9 hours of sleep every night and BLOODY JINX MYSELF!!!!

Its unusual for babies so young to sleep through for 8 hours. I think you've just had a lucky few weeks! Your milk will not be less fatty but perhaps beware of losing weight too fast? I would say normal baby thing.

Feeling less engorged a few months in is totally normal as your supply settles down. AS long as you're eating properly, your supply should be fine.

I'd say baby thing (look up developmental leaps) or growth spurt. Their brains and their guts go through enormous changes in the first year of life. Sleep disruption is sadly totally normal!

Ok. I just thought I'd probably got lucky with a baby sleeping through so early. She seemed so settled and happy!! But now... Oh lord!!!

Well, it was good while it lasted!!

I've come to see since DS that sleep is not the progressive 'feed less and sleep more' as time goes on I thought it would be! Growth spurts, wind, God knows what can disrupt it. 5 month old DS slept for 8 hours for the first time ever last night, night before fed every 3. No reason that I can see (sadly, I'd like to think there had been something I did yesterday that I can repeat!). Also I know when teeth come he'll probably wake loads again! I'd say at 9 weeks it will be hunger so to offer feeds at wakeups, DS was still on every 2 hours then. I'm only just starting to experiment with trying shush cuddle and dummy first rather then going straight for the feeding, but 90% of the time its still feeding he wants!

Am ff and at 9 weeks my lo who was sleeping 7pm-6am started to wake a few times at night lasted for 2 weeks and has now gone back to sleeping these hours I think it might have been a long growth spurt
