Boobs still producing milk?!

Apologies if this is in the wrong section - I couldn't find the usual bf bit, might be due to posting from my phone...

My question is: if you bf, when do you stop being able to get milk from your boobs?!
DS was born in May 2012 and I bf'ed him for 6 mts exclusively and then finally stopped when he was around 1y.
So I haven't bf'ed (or expressed) for near on 18 months and yet if I (or DHSmile) squeeze my nipples I can still get a sort of milky colostrum out.
Did anyone els have this? How long for?

None of my friends who bf'ed have this, but this is from a relatively small sample size of about 6.

It's normal, and maybe you should stop squeezing!

Thanks embarrassed.
It that it then? Until the menopause?! I've got (hopefully) about 20 years until then!
It's not like i make a habit of it Grin - just have noticed that it's still possible is all

It stops eventually mine took 18months / 2 years.

Yeah, it will stop at some point. A well established supply takes a while to calm down :-)

I stopped bf in March 2013 after just 4 weeks. I can still get a drop or two.
