If she doesn't drink anything for more than a couple of hours, I would get her seen just to be safe

what age is your lo? You could try medised which is suitable from 3 months (if your lo is old enough) - it contains an anti-histamine which is supposed to help with snotty noses and aid restful sleep. Try sitting in the bathroom after running hot water - the steam should help with her nose too. You can get saline drops to put in your lo's nose to help clear it (you can get them in Boots). Another thing you can try is a nasal aspirator thing (like a mini-turkey baster for sucking out snot from your lo's nose). Again I have seen them in Boots. If your lo is having problems with a bottle, have you tried offering milk from a beaker instead - might be messier but may get a bit more fluids into her.

Try giving warm chamomile tea. It always helps my ds. If anything, it will help her stay hydrated.

thankyou! dd is feeling much better today. Have been using the medised already. Have also bought a vapouriser for karvol. We'll see how things go from here!
