As I feed them together, I have one on either side of me. I happened to be sitting on an inflatable bed which was probably a foot of the ground. Dt1 was squirming a bit trying to get comfortable and he fell off the bed with my nipple in his mouth. He basically didn't think to let go. Its so sore, I feel really upset, I know he didn't do it on purpose but god it stings
Sympathy needed please

ouch... much sympathy overrun x

ds is abit of a chewer and I have infections on my nipple because of his roughness.

You might want to make clean the nipple area after the boys have feed to make sure you don´t get an bacterial infection

yeah I was wondering about that, what do you think I should use. I am abit clueless as have been lucky and never had cracked nipples or anything. Should I put some antispectic cream on and then wash off before next feed?

Ooooooh! I bet6 tha6t hurts. You poor thing. I've been nipped in the past. Always accidentally. I t hurts so much and you're will be tender for the enxt couple of feeds too.
Very upsetting.

Ooh, poor you. I got bitten briefly about three times, but no blood. It still blooming hurt - you have my sympathy...

I told my mum, and she was sympathetic to a point but it was clear that she thought "well that wouldn't have happened if you'd stopped feeding them when they were babies" Rubbish of course, it was an accident plain and simple.
God it really stings though, I couldn't believe it when I saw spots of blood in my bra.
This and the awful weather, and an inset day has decided me that I am not venturing out of the house today

beansprout · 09/10/2006 13:46

Oooh, so much sympathy from me. Have had a similar thing - unbelievably painful!!

worried about infection, but as posted earlier unsure what I can put on, that won't be a problem to feeding child? I have cleaned it, but nothing else so far. I am making sure that it is the twin that injured me that is feeding from that side. Any tips (scuse the pun) would be grafefully recieved.
