Bf with d&v bug

Dd is 6 days old and I seem to have picked up a d&v bug, is there anything I need to do differently or be aware of? I'm sure it's ok for me to keep feeding her but I'm just concerned as I don't really know what I'm doing yet!

Nothing you can do except look after yourself as far as possible. Bfing shouldn't be affected.

When something similar happened to me the gp prescribed something to stop the sickness which was great. Keep as hydrated as possible.

This happened me with DC1. It was grim. You need to wash your hands v v thoroughly before you touch baby to minimise the risk of giving it to them, also you need to drink tonnes of diarolyte (sp?) until you can eat again. That's what the GP said when I was ill.
