I haven't asked sil if she managed to successfully bf our niece who is 3 weeks old but she too was given rubbish advice.
Poor dp got a massive rant in the car on the way home from visiting I was so infuriated. I did tell her the advice was really bad but she's not the sort to listen really so didn't push.

Hope your dil is ok and glad she has your support. It's infuriating when the hcp don't get it right when they are Haley as the experts.

Put in a complaint, that sort of attitude isn't acceptable.

Well unfortunately she has picked in the wrong family. My sister is a Neo natal nurse and avid breast feeder and I'm a child sw so we will be asking questions.
Poor dil is having such a shit time in there and just wants to go home.
If they were a bit nicer she might be more resigned to staying.

That's not on. It takes time. My baby born sat and each day we have improved. When she is feeling better i think she should make a complaint so this me doesn't keep saying things like that.
