Will missing an odd feed (ebf) cause any problems?

I have been EBF my 7 mth old since birth. I have now been asked by work if I would be happy to do some 'keep in touch' days over the next couple of months to complete some training starting in a weeks time. DS2 is a slow weaner and we're not near dropping any milk feeds yet. My DH managed to give him a small bottle of formula yesterday in between feeds (I can't express) so that doesn't seem to be a problem.
Some days I will need to be there for 5 hours so will miss an entire feed. Do you think this will be a problem as I can't express so will essentially be missing a feed every now and again? I just don't want to mess things up and I worry a bit as I've had mastitis multiple times! TIA for any help .

It won't matter at 7 months old, no. If mastitis is a big concern you could take a pump and express somewhere private like an empty office, either to take back home or just do it for your own relief and throw away. Does your DC sleep 5 hour stretches without a feed? If so you will most likely be ok anyway.

Everyone is different but I started work back at 7.5 months with a bf baby that barely eats a morsel of solid food and I managed 9-6 with no discomfort and he drinks a small amount of formula at nursery. We bf the rest of the time with no issues.

Thanks guys. Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem then which is reassuring. I just didn't want to upset our routine this early on.
MrTumbles, 5 hours at night would be a dream come true, sadly anything from 15 mins to 2 hours is how he rolls at night . During the day he's every 3 hours like clockwork.

You could take soya lecithin to try and prevent any blocked ducts. Hand express just to remain comfortable?

You should be fine, but you might want to pump? Something to remember though is KIT days are not mandatory. And of you are on maternity leave you can not be made to come in.

You're training could be done on your return from mat leave.

Sometimes I sympathise, my youngest was like that too and only 1 of my 3 went 5 hours at night at 7 months, but some babies do... I was just wondering whether your body was used to going longer between feeds or not.

IShallCall, work have made it clear that I'm under no obligation to go in. It's just that I had completed the majority of some training prior to going on mat leave and there's only a few more sessions to complete before the final exam in Jan. Prospects wise for the future, I really need to get this under my belt. Just so annoying as I really don't want to be thinking about work at all at the moment!
Stargirl, I'm already on the lecithin. I think this was thanks to you from one of my posts about my 'mastitis' misery. Fingers crossed that should keep things at bay.
Unfortunately I'm unable to express . I've tried with both my DSs using hand, manual and electric pumps and barely get enough to feed a fly! It's so annoying!
