Cinnarazine and breastfeeding

I've been having terrible dizzy spells and my gp has diagnosed an inner ear problem for which she has prescribed cinnarazine. She thinks that it will be ok with bfing, but the leaflet with the medicine says different, that it is not recommended.

I haven't taken any yet, because I wanted to do more research and not stop bfing DS who was a prem though you'd never know it now. So anyone had any experience with this or can point to any resources? thanks.

Are you sure this is the correct spelling of the drug, TerrariaMum?

You can check out the info on any drug and bf by looking it up here, and sharing what you find with your doctor:

toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/sis/search2

Or see the breastfeeding network's pages (google them) and/or call their drugsline.

I think so. That's what it says on the pack. But will check. Not sure I want to take it even if I weren't bfing. Some of the common side effects sound worse than the symptoms I want to alleviate.
