Nursing bras for the bigger of boob - recommendations?

Any recommendations out there for well made nursing bras in bigger sizes? - I'm somewhere between a 34 G or H cup and really struggling to find something supportive enough.

I've tried some cheaper options from Mothercare and H&M and to be honest they either don't go to large enough sizes, or are not cut well and result in the bisected/double boob look.

Had a look on both Bravissimo and nursingbra-shop.co.uk - both seem to have good selections, but some personal recommendations on specific brands would be great.

A normal underwired bra & you can buy the clips to make it a nursing bra, I got local seeing shop to do it for me.

There's no way I could have managed without a decent supportive bra.

With DC1 I bought underwired nursing bras from Elomi which were fab. Expecting DC2 and will try and get the same.

I got a Royce from Bravissimo - am 30GG. Not the prettiest but sturdy!

I second nursingbra-shop - they have a great range. I spent my the last 2 years in an Anita underwired nursing bra from them.

Just make sure the wires aren't digging at all - go bigger if necessary, they go up to a J - because diggy wires and breastfeeding can = blocked ducts and pain...

would recommend getting fitted in the shop if you can rather than buying online. I was told by midwives that wired bras can potentially damage the breast tissue and decrease milk production so would personally avoid if you can. A non wired bra does need to be quite snug fitting around the back to be supportive so you need to persevere for a few days wear before it becomes comfy.

Second the anita underwire! comfortable and good shaping.

Hot Milk- they were the absolute best ones I had. So comfy and supportive, and really nice looking too. You can usually get good prices online- as I don't care what colour/design they were, I just got the sale ones each time.
Honestly, they were a revelation after my 2nd DC, just wish I'd found them before DC1!

I didn't actually stop wearing them once I'd stopped feeding... wore them for about another 6 months whilst my breasts settled down post-milk, into a permanent size.

Royce from Bravissimo - 36G was supportive enough for anything except aerobics.

Bravissimo have a great range.

I love hot milk and they wash really well. My hot milk bra still looks brand new compared to the debenhams and mothercare ones that look tatty and ready for the bin.

My boobs were L cup at their biggest. I had a couple of Royce bras from Rigby and Peller (I think they were the only brand to go up to L cup) but hated them as they were soft cup. I ended up buying ordinary under wired bras that fitted perfectly and getting the local seamstress to convert them into nursing bras, using the clips butchered from the Royce bras!

I've just bought a couple of the Anita underwired ones, wish I'd had them before, I've frittered away loads on crap mothercare ones!

GG cup here wearing Sophie bra by Panache at Bravissimo. Cannot recommend them enough. I went into store and this bra fits perfectly and it's not too ugly either
