Dd is 1 year was exclusively by until 11.5 months then switched straight to cows milk and is now on 20oz a day of cows milk...

However since she has been on cow milk she has been quite bunged up and snotty it's been 2 months now and it's getting no better go just said it was a virus -which is what he says about everything- I heard that dairy can make you nasal so I'm wondering if I try swapping her to soy for a couple of weeks and see if it makes a difference but will she get everything she needs from soya and is it okay at her age in large quantities?

Ask your health visitor about this, edgar and check out safety issues of soya milk on the web.

It's not something ever advised for babies, unless there is a diagnosed cows milk allergy.
