Dd 7mths over the last few weeks since a cold has decided that she really doent like it. I now give 7:30 am , 6:30 pm & 10:30 pm,this last one is the only one shell drink but it only 4oz. I now tend to put milk in EVERYTHING she eats , at least an oz every meal. I also give her a yogurt for lunch & one meal I add cheese into it too. I am worried as Im not sure with all of that it is the pint required when on solids. Any other tips or things Im missing ?? She looks very healthy and everyone comments on here little podgy cheeks.

Personally I wouldn't worry - both of mine dropped their milk intake dramatically about this age. But I am a Bad Mum, I have to admit.

my DD1 stopped drinking milk in any quantity around a similar age, can?t remember exactly when. I remember I worried a lot at the time as it happened fairly suddenly. My mum told me I was the same and have never really drunk milk myself in any form - can?t stand the stuff!! I wonder if it runs in families?
As your DD (like mine) loves yoghurts, I reckon you shouln?t worry too much. Keep up the yoghurt/fromage frais intake and use cheese in meals for the calcium and you should be fine. I used to "hide" milk in as many meals as possible for her - rice pudding, blancmonge, everything with white/cheese suaces (fish pie, chicken and pasta in sauce etc. etc.) and just got through as much as possible. She just drank water and wouldn?t take much milk at all out of a bottle. Make sure she isn?t getting dehydrated and it should be ok - if you are really worried see your HV but if a baby doesn?t want to drink milk, there is very little you can do about it

Will I hate milk , depsite having a starnge urge to drink pints every day when preggers. So may be she has the same taste as me. So glad im kinda doinf it sort of right by hiding it in everything!!! Do you think its about a pint with what im doing??. Should I give her more yogurts??
