My DS was born at 33 weeks and is now 10 weeks old (3 corrected). I'm EBF and when we first left SCBU, he was feeding every 3.5 hours. I assumed he'd gradually go for longer between feeds as he got older but in fact the opposite is true and he's now demanding milk every 2 hours (from the start of one feed to the start of the next). By the time I've winded him (which takes forever) and changed his nappy, I get about an hour's sleep before he's ready to go again. I'm shattered and my nipples are sore! Has anyone experienced similar and if so, at what age did your premie start to feed less frequently?
