sterilising equipment

I'm a first-timer, about to put in a big online Boots order for everything we'll need when baby arrives! Am not sure what kind of sterilising equipment I'll need. I am planning to breastfeed, if all goes well. But would like chance to express and have others give a bottle feed occasionally if I'm not around, a bit later on. For occasional use what would you recommend - just the microwave bags, or is it worth investing in a proper machine? We've also got quite a lot of travel planned as we're going to visit DH's family in Australia.

If you're going to just do it occasionally I'd either get the microwave bags or just rely on the occasional cold Milton sterilising. The steam sterilisers are great if you are purely bottle feeding but they're huge and would be a complete waste for the odd bottle.

I'd look for a microwave one that can also be used for cold water sterilising and then it would be useful for when you are travelling
