Fussy at breast

Baby has become fussy when breastfeeding. Pecking and sucking then pulling off. Particularly on an evening. Overnight he's fine. 1 month old. Any ideas? Something I'm eating? Anyone?

My guess would be a touch of colic or reflux. My ds can be the same. It helps if he does a big burp Smile

My DD did this at 5 weeks and she had thrush. She would cry on the boob after about 10 mins of feeding, mainly for evening feeds at first. Then she did it one morning so I took her down to the clinic for advice. She had a white tongue, that was the only symptom, no other white patches or curd like patches on her gums or inside mouth. GP prescribed antibiotics.

She also fusses if she needs to burp, or just before she does a poo which she still does quite frequently while feeding!
