Helpful piece for BF mums

This has been the best bf information I've ever read and I notice that it also offers advice and answers a lot of questions that are regularly posted here (weight, feeds, etc) so I hope it helps and reassures another BF mum x

Thanks! This is helpful.

While this particular article is informative, I have big issues with the militant tone taken by this blogger. Ultimately I think she does bf advocacy more harm than good.

And some of her claims should be taken with a large pinch of salt. Some of her sources are pretty dubious.

Agree with pp. Not convinced that "stark differences" are observed between ff and bf babies, I've certainly never been able to tell until someone whips out a boob or a bottle. Probably designed to make the 1% of mums who ebf feel good (although the ones I know wouldn't really rate it I think) and the other 99% feel a bit shit.
Agree about the links, clicked on one and it was form a study of 39 babies over 10 days. Hardly definitive.

Alphaparent - hmmmmmmmm, she's not as sciencey as she thinks she is :)

As ever, take nothing at face value.

Having said that, I think the timeline is helpful, but I would not like to think Alphaparent was the sole source of information or support for bf for anyone who wanted to know more about bf.

I have no idea what website I linked from because I just googled the timeline which I have found invaluable. I always ignore the comparisons to ff babies.
