Hi, my doctor has just prescribed Nutramigen to my dd, who suffers from silent reflux and constipation. Anybody there who has used it already and has some feedback? thanks!

I used it for DS2 when he had colic. My HV reccomended I try it & it seemed to calm the colic right down. He used it for around 3 months with no problems.

That's great! Mine is not that colicky though, she just has reflux. How old was your ds when you changed again the formula? And which one did he get afterwards? Thanks!

just been to the chemist and he says that long use of this formula could make my baby allergic to everything!

What a peculiar thing for the chemist to say, nuria.

N. is a hyppallrgenic formula where the protein has been semi-digested and the aim is to make the formula easier to digest.

I can't think it would be any liklier than any other formula to be linked to the development of allergies. Formula is associated with allergies, but N. is supposed to make allergies less likely....no idea if that works, though.
