Feeding from a cup at 5 1/2 months?

Wondering if anyone has experience of their 5-6 month old taking expressed milk in a cup? I'm due back at work full time from next Monday, and have only ever breastfed DD2. We've been trying to give her a bottle for the past three weeks, but she won't take more than a few sips, she mainly chews the teats! DD1 was a bit of a struggle too but it didn't take this long, maybe a week, although she was younger. I've tried a whole range of bottles but she won't suck from any of them. Not sure what to do next but now running out of time Sad

Watching with interest as my 6.5 month old is exactly the same. He'll take a few sips from a free flow sippy cup but nothing more.

I'm returning to work too and hoping the nursery can succeed where I've failed!

We got there with an ikea sippy cup, only when in bouncy chair rather than being held though, and only if he's really hungry.

DS2 got the hang (with some help and spillage) of a Doidy cup at 4.5 months, was pretty good with a Nuk soft spout sippy before 6 months.

Don't give up with the bottle! Mine was 6mo before she finally figured out how to use a bottle. If it helps, it was the Tommy Tippee one that finally worked. Good luck Smile
