How do I formula feed my baby on the go using powder formula? I've got a powder dispenser do do I just pour this in a sterilised bottle and add hot water from a flask? What about then getting it to the right temperature?

If you're going to be using it within 2 hours, I'd make it up at home hot and take it out with you.

More than 2 hours, I'd take a carton of ready made. Although you could take powder, a flask of 70+ degree water and then make it and leave to cool to drinking temp while out.

Would I have to sterilise the flask itself or not worry so long as the water was boiling when it went in?

Just use the little ready made bottles and take a sealed sterilised bottle out with you. So much easier

I cant use cartons as dd is on comfort milk and they dont do it in cartons, I fill a flask with boiling water, fill a bottle with boiling water and cool it down in a jug of water take powder in the dispensers when its time for a feed (5oz) I put 2oz of boiling water in a bottle add powder then add 3oz of the cooled water so its the right temp, its a bit faffy but im used to it now

I premade bottles and took them out and about. Served at room temp.

I add the powder to cooled boiled water. The risk of bacteria from the powder is minimal. I would say half my friends do this as well, the other half add to hot water.

If you prefer to do as gov guidelines then use ready made with a sterilised bottle.

I do a mix of options depending where I'm going
Make it up at home
Take powder and pre boiled water in the bottle (I have insulated bags but they don't always stay above 70 degrees)
Or just ask in a cafe, pub for an oz of boiled water, add powder, the add cold pre boiled water I've brought with me.

I use little containers and take premeasured powder so I don't have to cart around a whole container.
