Periods after Breastfeeding.

I finished Breastfeeding 6 months ago and had my first period since being pregnant 2 months ago.

I haven't had another period, I've had 1 period in 2 years!

Should I see a doctor or just wait it out to see if I have a regular cycle?

Don't worry too much in the absence of any other symptoms or problems unless you are desperate to get pregnant again (also best check you aren't actually pregnant...:)). I didn't have any periods for 3.5 years when having DS and DD1 as I went from a 9.5 m pregnancy to 12 months breastfeeding amenorrhea straight to another 9.5 m pregnancy and 6 m bf amenorrhea.

And in 6 and half years of pregnancy and breastfeeding the oldest 3 children I must have had no more than 1 years' worth of periods.
