My little girl is now 11 month when I feed her at night she keeps biting my nipple. Is this now time to stop? If so does anyone know the best way to wean her off? Or is there a way of stopping the biting
Thank you x please help xx

My DD naturally stopped BFing around 11 months and I had the same issue. She would bite me and then would give a wee cheeky smile to herself. Still makes me laugh when i think about it!

One of the things I tried was taking her off and sitting her on the floor for a second without speaking to her every time she did it. It did help reduce it happening but it never stopped completely until she stopped feeding. She was also only down to only a night time feed.

It hurts doesn't it. See I think if I put her on the floor she might wake herself back up or think it's play time. How did you get your little one to take a bottle? I've tried so many different ones which ones did you use ? Xx

I used the closer to nature bottles for my DD but she would never take a bottle from me.

From about 8 months, I never let DD fall asleep taking a feed as i was going back to work. We wanted to establish a solid bedtime routine where she went to bed awake and fell asleep on her own. We had 1 night of controlled crying (30 minutes) and that was her, although she has always been a fantastic sleeper.

I never turned lights on for feeds in the middle of the night when she was very very small and only changed her nappy during the night if it was dirty once she was a couple of months.

Sorry. I didn't actually answer your second question... Once she stopped her middle of the night feeds, she never woke during the night, apart from once when she had an awful cold. She still sleeps soundly through the night now and she is nearly 2 and a half.
We've been very lucky with her

Between 9-11 months she was only taking about 4oz at a time. Not much at all as she was doing so well with solids x
