Is there a problem with my supply at 4 months?

I think I know what the answer is, but I'm going to post anyway in case there's something I've overlooked.
EBF ds is 17 weeks and has for the first time ever begun to empty both breasts at a feed (I've always had more than enough milk). He's wanted more (when there hasn't been any more) but not to the point of screaming in hunger.
What's happening? General 4 month growth spurt and my supply will meet his demand or am I drying up? My boobs feel and look a lot smaller - back to normal size after being several sizes bigger.

Yes. 4 month growth spurt, put your feet up, eat cake, drink lots of water, get some good dvds and enjoy the extra feeds and cuddles.

Yep, growth spurt. This one's a big one too! My DS is 19 weeks and had been feeding like crazy. My boobs have caught up now though, and I have more than enough milk for him. Hang in there.

His sucking will stimulate your boobs to make milk - both at the time he's sucking and it puts an order in for the next day at the same time iyswim. So if he wants to suck, let him get on with it :o

You might also find that his jaw is now stronger, which is why he's wanting both sides - suddenly he's really efficient! DS went from hour+ feeds to 30ish minutes at around that age

There is never 'no more' Your boobs are a factory, not a warehouse so dont worry about that :)

As mango said, there is always more. Boobs are amazing and produce milk on demand. It's normal for your boobs to feel less 'full' as your supply evens out and your boobs are only making what is needed IYSWIM.

If he wants more after the second side then put him back on the first again.
