newborn weight gain

My little girl is now 6weeks. At her four week check she had only just got back to her birth weight which was 7lb11oz. Hv told me she is in healthy height (55ins) weight parameters but I'm concerned she is not gaining quickly enough

She is purely breastfed. Tried her on a bed time formula feed for about a week but felt that was increasing her wind pain (she really struggles gettin wind up and farts alot) and also her silent reflux.

Hopin all is ok but worried hv and gp are just tellin me what I want to hear Confused

If she's having plenty of wet/dirty nappies and gaining rather than losing, she's doing fine.
I remember how scary it was with my DS when he was a newborn and worried about weight gain but try to relax. If there was anything to be concerned about your GP and HV would tell you!
In fact I think my DS had just about regained his birth weight at that age and has continued to gain ever since Smile

Can you feed her more frequently, and offer both sides at every feed? That should help weight gain.
