First period...im so sad!

Awwww im so sad my period has returned. Baby is now 8.5months old and i have been expecting its arrival for a few weeks but im gutted its back.
How bad is it going to be?? I have heard bad things! Will it settle back into a pattern quickly or will it be random cycles? How long does it last? Will it just be the first one that is bad?
I feel like a teenager again

Mine were quite random for a while, but not bad or anything...just irregular. Actually the first few were so sporadic and extremely light, just 2 days light bleeding.

I got pg after 9 of these random 'cycles'

I got mine back at 6 weeks with both babies! Literally lochia ended and a few days period started. Bastard mother nature!

The first periods were very heavy, and cramping was quite bad. I had c-sections, i've often wondered if that has any bearing on the early return and painful period?

By the 3/4th one they were back into a routine and fairly 'normal', hopefully you'll be the same!

I had a c-section and EBF.

I got my first period when DS was just over 4 months old. It was pretty light and lasted about 2 days.

That was 6 weeks ago now and there's been nothing since.
