Cutting out the night feed

How do you go about this?

We're not quite ready yet but I've started thinking about it. DS1 just cut it out himself around 6 months. Do I just wait until DS2 is ready or is there a strategy ?

If you can, I'd wait till DS2 is ready, mine took 6m, 8m, and 18m to be ready! I did BF though, so I've no experience with FF!
