DD is 8 weeks old, bf. She has been a windy baby and it can take an hour to burp her. She bobs on and off for feeds, seems to gulp a lot and feeds can be short, but she is gaining weight well. I can be doing hourly feeds at times but she does not look content after the feed. When she lies down she often flaps her limbs and I can hear her gulping/gasping. We have raised the head of the cot. I tried 3 weeks of no dairy and am generally gluten free due to DS diet. The past two weeks I went back on dairy and she seems windier, less happy to lie down. Her poo was slimy at first but now is more pasty.
GP thinks unlikely to be intolerance and suggested gaviscon. I do have a fast let down though so could it be that?
Not sure what to do next, have had her screaming for the past 2 hours and bringing up wind via both ends!
