Do I need to express missed feeds when away from 7 month old?

Hi

I'd like to go on a weekend away with DH to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Ideally it would be Saturday, sat night then back sunday lunch time. However, my DD is breastfed and now on some solids as she's 7 months old. She has accepted a bottle of formula in the past when I was away for a few hours.

My question is should i express the missed feeds to keep my supply up? Is this too long apart - will it affect my supply do you think?

Thanks in advance

Lucy

Just to ease discomfort should be OK.

Depends on your milk supply I suppose. I could have gone 24 hours no problem but that wasn't a good thing!

Express when you feel uncomfy, and perhaps before bed

and perhaps before any nooky because squished milky norks are no fun
