Hi

I don't understand why this has happened, my toddler still suckles all the time night and day (co sleep) but I'm fairly sure she's not getting anything much from me any more and don't know why

Thanks in advance for any advice on this!

It's quite unusual for supply to dip.

What makes you believe your supply has dropped?

Is anything going on with your health? Have you started any new medications? Might you be pregnant?

if he wasn't getting enough from you, he would be showing symptoms at gis age like fussing while feeding, pulling, wriggling, biting, squeezing, requesting the other side etc.

he wouldn't just be calmly suckling all night - he would be annoyed

Thanks for your reply. I have just started exercising again. I am tired from work and parenting! But otherwise no health problems as far as I am aware.

It just seems to take ages for her to get some milk from the point at which she starts sucking. There's not a plentiful supply any more it seems

she sorry!

nickelbabe · 02/09/2014 21:57

how do you know she's taking ages to get milk though?
as I say, she'd show frustration if she wasn't getting any.

yes I think you're right. Milk still coming, sorry false alarm it seems better today

Thank you
