Can I freeze EBF in Avent bottles with teat and lid on?i

I seem to only have one of the little seal/cap thingies for storage. Can I just freeze bottles with the teat attached plus lid? Haven't had the chance to go out and buy freezer milk bags yet...

I doubt it is good for the teat. How about a sterilised tupperware tub?

No. It will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days with the seal on. Buy proper milk storage freezer bags for the milk - loads of places (including Boots, Amazon etc) will post them to you.

Or if you want something you can stick a sterilised teat on to (once defrosted for use) Avent do storage pots (with plastic lids you can replace with a plastic connector you can put an avent classic teat in) - again can buy online to be delivered

It will keep in the fridge for longer than 3 days, put it at the back on the bottom shelf, which is coldest, and avoid opening the fridge door too often. If the milk is off your baby won't drink it (a very simple but obvious test!).

When you manage to get some bags, freeze the milk in small amounts, and if you put the bags flat so they are quite slim, you can defrost them very quickly under a luke warm tap. You might want to put the bags into an empty icecream container or similar just in case they tear or leak.

Remember breast milk is NOT formula or cows milk. It has some amazing life antibodies which stop it going off as quickly.
