Green poo at 4 months

Hello all,

My ds is 4 months and ebf. He feeds about 6 times a day (roughly every 3 hours) and sleeps through the night. For the last 3/4 days his poo has been varying shades of green rather than its normal yellow. He is fine in himself, showing no sign of being ill and is feeding and sleeping pretty much as normal.

I have been told that green poo can be a sign of too much foremilk and I have battled with an oversupply issue so I could see how this could be the problem, but I don't understand why it's only suddenly started and therefore whether there's anything I can do about it? I have tried to keep him only on one side but have now got a blocked duct (again!!).

Please help? Should I be worried?

Xx

Beginning of teething maybe? In the absence of other symptoms green poo is nothing to worry about and completely normal in a bfed baby. Sounds like he is doing brilliantly. Smile
