Help please! Boobs have dramatically shrunk and Toddler getting frustrated

My LO is almost 14 months old and were still BFing, mainly for comfort/sleep. In the last month or so my boobs have gone from a D cup to a B cup. There is still milk if I hand express I can get a few drops instantly but LO is getting very frustrated at the breast. Feeding to sleep isn't really working anymore (damn it!) so I wonder if I'm drying up

Should I just accept that our BFing journey is very nearly over? I don't want to carry on if it is frustrating for LO, he bobs off and on and off and on for ages if I let him .
Also one boob seems to 'work' better than the other these days.

Have you had a similar experience?

Saying 'I don't want to carry on' isn't really true! I don't know what I want other than to give him the best

This happened to me but it was due to being pregnant with dd2!

I'm pretty sure that's not the case here. I have a glass of wine in hand so let's hope not!

My ds is 21 months similar position, he now asks and refers to it as boob juice his word. My boobs are a lot smaller I thought that was just natural and sadly they do eventually stop feeding to sleep unless very, very tired. It's a comfort thing here, dh away and I can't be doing with the weaning fight. I'm hoping he'll just stop bf eventually.

Same thing happened to me with ds. He had stopped feeding to sleep of his own accord at about 14 months, but he loved his morning feed and would get very frustrated when I didn't seem to have enough for him. Eventually we went cold turkey on that last feed and after 2-3 days he didn't seem bothered anymore. Breastfeeding dc2 now, nearly two years later :)

Argh! I also remember thinking that part of the reason he didn't seem to remember breastfeeding, or ever ask for it, was due to my boobs looking nowhere near their former glory once he'd finished with them!

He still 'asks' to BF basically when he is tired and wants a nap
He has got very interested in my nipples- wants to poke /pull them. But yeah it looks like the fail safe pit to sleep option is over now
It's just so strange that my boobs have shrunk so much!
