pressure from family

My son is 7 week old and I am breastfeeding, he feeds nearly all day and night. He has had a tongue tie but that has now been cut 3 weeks ago and now he is sucking much better. But this has not changed his feeding routine and he is not putting on much weight. I am unable to do anything other than feed and sleep HELP!!!!

I forgot to add that i am being pressured to top up with bottle feed from my family and in laws.

Hi susan it sounds like you're doing a great job. If he had a TT for 4 weeks, I suspect the 'building up supply' constant feeding stage will go on a bit longer. He needs to feed to build up your supply, which will also help his weight gain. Is his weight gain steady? My DS was a slow but steady gainer - around 4oz a week, which was a bit less than other babies, but it sped up later on when other babies had slowed down a bit.
