My HV told me a baby needs 150ml per kilo per day MINIMUM. So you can estimate how big a feed is : (150 x baby's weight)/number of feeds he takes per day. But she did emphasise the minimum part. Hope this helps!

It very much depends on your baby tbh. Personally I never give more than 120ml per feed otherwise you find a lot goes to waste with a BF baby. And it is heartbreaking to pour it down the sink!

At some points in the day your baby may take as little as 30-60ml or as much as 150ml (my daughter never took more than 140ml at any one sitting, but some babies are happy to have more) This is not unusual. BF babies are used to little and often. So this is why I split the feeds. If the baby is still hungry then you can always give more iyswim?!
