Hunger cues confused ?.

Hi all ,

I am bottle feeding my son who is 4 months now and each time he shows sucking reflex and also puts his fingers in his mouth . I feed him then but he doesn't takes the milk . Is he hungry or anything else . Morever he is very irritated all the time. What can it be .may be teething ?.

This is about the age when chewing their fists can mean something other than hunger, yes. Could be teething, could be tired. I,generally try boob first!

Often babies just like to suck their fingers. Is he getting enough sleep? Have you tried a dummy?
